Thank you everyone for your generosity in bringing Hope this Holiday season. Gratitude Weekend and The Christmas Store happened because of your willingness to show up, to give, to remind our neighbors that they are seen and thought of. This year we were able to provide 900 Thanksgiving baskets to families around our city and host over 225 families who were able to purchase gifts for their loved ones with dignity at greatly reduced prices at The Christmas Store. All proceeds from the Store are being donated back to our partners at Breakthrough Urban Ministries and Brown Elementary as we continue to support these amazing organizations into the new year! Soul City, well done!
We can’t wait to see you at Blue Christmas on Friday, December 13 and Christmas at Soul City on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22.
The Holidays are often times of celebration, togetherness, and feelings of warmth and joy. It’s truly our favorite time of the year. We also know that for many, this season may not be full of cheer.
Hope for the Holidays is our acknowledgement that everyone’s holiday narrative is unique.
This season especially, we seek to honor every person’s story by celebrating the joy with one another, holding space for those who may be hurting, serving alongside our friends and family and meeting the needs of our neighbors.
Help us show and experience HOPE this season.

Blue Christmas is a service holding space for those who are experiencing loss or pain this Holiday Season. Amidst the holiday cheer, we want you to know that there is room for your heartache. If you, your friend, or the person you serve alongside are hurting, we would love to offer you space to grieve at Blue Christmas.
