We are the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves.

This is why your mind matters. What you believe determines how you will live.

And as we walk into this new year, I wonder what it would look like for you to allow your mind to be transformed not only by the love of God…but by the mind of God.

Romans 12:2 urges us:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your MIND.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –

His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

What would it look like this new year to tell yourself the truths about you that God speaks over you? Truths such as:

“I am God’s masterpiece!” (Ephesians 2:10)

“God is enough. I am enough.” (Philippians 4:19)

“God is making me new today!” (2 Corinthians 4:16),

“God is with me and for me!” (Isaiah 41:10)

“ I am loved by God!” (Ephesians 2:4)

When you change your mind, you can change your life.

So as we begin this year, let the loving truth of God transform your mind.

Claim these truths as yours. And say them…and keep saying them…and keep saying them…until you believe them!

Hey Soul City!

A quick message for those joining us in person this weekend:

Recently, the CDC shared new guidelines for wearing face masks in public and in indoor settings to promote safety in areas with substantial risks of transmission. Therefore, we are requiring that masks are worn while in the building on Sundays.

We are continuously reviewing the CDC guidelines and what our next steps will be – as your safety remains our priority.
