NEW STRENGTH
By Brandon Henderson
Scripture: “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 ESV
Devotional: We all have real circumstances in our lives that are still with us in the New Year and perhaps you find yourself running out of strength for those circumstances? Maybe it’s a specific relationship, illness, career or financial challenge? Our Father is the all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present One. As we learn to wait on Him– or trust in Him– He fills us with a strength that is supernatural. Trusting Him means that we align our thoughts and actions with the promises found in His Word. As we learn to lean on His perspective of our circumstances, we will experience a hope that energizes us to soar, run, walk, and not faint. The One who never becomes faint or weary desires to renew your strength today.
