What Does Kids Camp in person look like?
Whether you choose a full day at Kids Camp or a half day, your camper(s) will start the day with an opening ceremony with their camp team(s)! A camp team will be made up of 8 campers and 2 leaders. This is the group your camper will stay with for the duration of the week!
After the opening ceremony, campers will participate in a variety of activities, worship and crafts with safety, social distancing, and masks!
Half day campers will go home before lunch at noon, while our full day campers enjoy more time together with their team in the afternoon! Kids Camp full day wraps up each day at 5p.

Kids Camp FAQ
How many campers does a box accommodate?
Each box contains supplies for one individual camper.
Can you mail me a box?
Unfortunately, we cannot mail boxes at this time. All ordered boxes must be picked up at Soul City Church.
Can I sign up for just one week?
If you are attending in person, you can sign up for more than one week. The prices given are on a weekly basis. Different camp teams will have different activities for each week.
For Camp in a Box, one box for Kids Camp contains activities for one child for five camp days. Even if your camper will not be able to enjoy camp when the videos launch, they can still do all the activities afterwards at their own pace!
How do I pick up my box?
We will have a box pick up time in early July right at Soul City Church! We will provide safe, social distancing guidelines for pick up so you and your camper will be ready to go!
How many kids are coming to camp?
We have set up limited seats to ensure camp activities will happen in small groups and socially distanced with larger groups. There will be 8 campers in a Camp Team with 2 leaders per Team.
See our Kids Camp Registration FAQs for more details.
What is the refund policy?
Box Refund Policy: Once a box is purchased we will not be able to offer a refund at this time. Even if your schedule changes, your camper can participate in camp whenever it’s convenient for you!
In Person Refund Policy: For cancellations, Soul City Kids Camp refunds 93% of your purchase. No refunds are available after June 1st. Should you need a refund for any reason please contact email@example.com.
COVID-19 Refund Policy: In the event of a person at camp testing positive for COVID-19, the person’s learning POD will be informed and required to quarantine for 14 days. Any minor who must miss camp due to quarantine will be able to make up the camp week at a later date if available or get a partial refund taken on a case by case basis.
Does my child need a box to participate in Kids Camp at Home?
While the box provides all the materials needed for the activities throughout Kids Camp, all videos will be available for anyone to watch and participate in regardless if they have a box or not. However, we would love every child who wants to participate in Kids Camp to have a box. If there is a need we can meet in this area, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How involved will I need to be for Kids Camp at Home?
This is the wonderful thing about Kids Camp at home…you can be as involved with your kids’ experience as YOU want to be. The lessons, activities and worship are designed for the camper to do on their own, but are more fun with the family’s involvement! We always encourage you to take time to join them in the fun of what they’re learning.
