We’re excited to introduce our inaugural TeamCon, a conference for Soul City Teams to ENGAGE in COMMUNITY, be EQUIPPED in their SKILLS and be EMPOWERED in their LEADERSHIP. If you want to learn how to more effectively love and serve both God and others, then TeamCon is designed for YOU!
This first-ever annual conference is where you’ll:

Our breakout sessions are designed to help you grow as a LEADER both inside and outside the church. Look forward to being equipped in the work of hospitality, creativity, bridge-building, Holy Spirit encounters, and much more.

As a Soul City Team member, you are not just a volunteer, but a LEADER who partners with God to do good and transforming work in the world. You will leave TeamCon inspired to love and lead others in every area of your life.

- Breakouts are designed to give you skills to THRIVE IN LEADERSHIP BOTH INSIDE & OUTSIDE THE CHURCH.
- You can participate in ANY BREAKOUT, regardless of what team you serve on – choose your own adventure!
- You will PRE-REGISTER for your desired breakouts with your TeamCon registration.
- Space is LIMITED for each breakout, so register EARLY to guarantee your spot.

What does it look like to embrace your unique leadership voice and lead out of who God has created you to be? In this breakout we will explore principles that will help you to find and lead from your own gifts and passions. You will discover practical ways to nurture and express your leadership in your volunteer work and daily life, empowering you to reflect God’s creativity in all you do.
The Art of Self Leadership: Navigating Conflict
If you are leading anything, building and maintaining healthy relationships is essential. In relationships, conflict is to be expected and there are more options of how to respond than sweeping it under the rug and blowing up! In this session you will be equipped with practical tools and a Biblical foundation for addressing conflicts in a way that fosters understanding, healing, and unity.
Holy Spirit: Facilitating Holy Spirit Encounters
Theology of the Holy Spirit 101
Who is the Holy Spirit, and how does He work in our lives today? In this breakout, you will explore foundational Biblical teachings on the Holy Spirit. You will gain a deeper understanding of His role in our lives as Helper and Empowerer. You will also discover ways to experience His power and presence as you walk in step with Him daily.

What does the $35 registration cost cover?
The $35 registration cost helps offset the expense for meals and supplies for you to have the best possible TeamCon experience! You can also expect some epic "freebies" as part of your registration.

Who can attend TeamCon?
TeamCon is open to all Soul City Volunteers, whether you're currently on a team or exploring ways to get involved.
What can I expect during the conference?
You can expect a weekend full of engaging workshops, inspiring talks, worship, and opportunities to connect with other volunteers. You'll be equipped with new skills and empowered in your leadership.
Is there a cost to attend TeamCon?
Registration for TeamCon is $35 for all Soul City Volunteers. If you are in need of a sponsor, or would like to sponsor another volunteer, please contact us at transformation@soulcitychurch.com.
What should I bring to the conference?
Bring a notebook, a pen, and a readiness to learn and connect! Comfortable clothing and your enthusiasm are also recommended.
Do I need to attend both days?
While we encourage you to attend both days to get the full experience, we understand if you can only make one day. Each day will have unique sessions, so you'll benefit from attending as much as you can.
How do I register for the event?
You can register online through the Soul City website or at the event registration desk on the day of the conference. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot.
Will meals be provided?
Yes, meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you register.
Will childcare be provided during the event?
Childcare will be provided for FRIDAY EVENING ONLY from 5:45-9:30p. Please make sure REGISTER YOUR CHILD for childcare along with your registration, so we can ensure we have the appropriate arrangements in place. No childcare will be available on Saturday.
Can I volunteer to help at TeamCon?
While we are grateful for your desire to serve, this is a moment that our staff would like to pour into YOU.

TeamCon will be held at Soul City Church, 1150 W Adams. Parking details and directions will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
