Worship Auditions
We’re excited about all that God is doing in and through our worship ministry here at Soul City Church, and we love meeting and learning from the talent that is within our church. We’re accepting all auditions via video submissions. Read below for upload instructions and deadlines.

Step 1
HOW TO AUDITION
- Songs: Record yourself auditioning to one of the following song: “You Are Mine” by Soul City Worship or O My Soul by Soul City Worship.
- Uploading video: Please record and submit your audition video to YouTube. See guideline requirements for your specific audition.
- Title & Settings: For us to locate your submission, please title your video: “YOUR NAME – SOUL CITY WORSHIP AUDITION”. Be sure that your video is “UNLISTED” under privacy settings.
- Application: Please complete and submit the Team Application. You will include the link to your recorded audition as part of the application.
WHAT TO SUBMIT
- Guitars, Bass, Drums or Keys: If you are auditioning for guitars, bass, drums, or keys please play through entire song. Guitarists, spend a minute showing us your pedal board.
- Vocals: If you are auditioning for vocals, first sing the chorus and bridge of the song a cappella (no accompaniment), then sing harmony of the bridge & chorus along with the recording.
- Worship Leaders: Record yourself leading with musical accompaniment. Please start your video by telling us how long you’ve led, where you’ve led or where you are leading currently.
- Optional: If you have any videos of you performing live in a setting, please send these links as well.
Step 2
We will view all videos, and you will be emailed back with a next step. Live auditions will take place on Wednesdays by invite only. Date and time will be emailed to you.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- All musicians must be able to play to a click track (metronome) and know the Nashville number system.
- If you are auditioning for keys, you must be familiar with MIDI and software-based synths.
- If you are auditioning for vocals, you must be able to sing on key, sing on beat, and harmonize.
